Moonstone Quill - Band Press Kit
Moonstone Quill is a Colorado-based string band that seamlessly blends bluegrass, rock, and country into a plugged-in Americana sound. Formed in 2020 by founding members Dan Shukis and Nate Spencer in Breckenridge, CO, the band has quickly gained recognition for its ability to merge traditional genres and styles with modern sonic experimentation.
Drawing on the rich heritage of classic bluegrass, Moonstone Quill crafts its sound around acoustic guitar, mandolin, bass, and pedal steel guitar. Their live performances are a dynamic fusion of tight vocal harmonies, improvisation, and bold pedal effects, evoking the spirit of rock and jam bands while staying true to their traditional Americana foundation.
